Credentials
Randolph V. Glein was graduated
from the University of
Washington with a BA-Accounting
(Beta Alpha Psi) in 1977. He
worked in private industry until
he decided on a career in public
accounting. Randolph passed the
CPA exam and earned the
certificate of Certified Public
Accountant in 1988.
In an effort to better serve his
clients, Randolph enrolled in
the AICPA Personal Financial
Planning educational program. He
successfully completed this
program and received from the
AICPA the Certificate of
Educational Achievement in
Personal Financial Planning. In
1996, he sat for and passed the
AICPA Personal Financial
Specialist exam.
To assist prospective financial
planning and asset management
clients Randolph became a
Registered Investment Advisor.
He passed the Uniform Investment
Advisor Law Exam in November
1997 and is now a Washington
State Registered Investment
Advisor (RIA).
Experience
Randolph V. Glein has over 30
years of accounting and
financial experience and in
excess of 20 years of experience
as a CPA. Randolph has extensive
experience with computer
accounting systems including
installation, training, and
problem solving. He has
considerable knowledge of
individual and business federal
income taxes, including sole
proprietors, Subchapter-S
Corporations, C-Corporations,
Limited Liability Corporations
(LLC), and gift and estate
taxation. In addition, Randolph
has particular expertise in the
field of financial planning and
asset management services.
In 1992, Randolph used his
knowledge gained in private
industry to start his own firm
from scratch and has built it
into one of the premier
accounting, tax, and financial
planning practices on the
peninsula. Hard work, skill, and
great people accomplished this.
Community
Randolph moved to South Kitsap
in 1981 with his wife, Brenda J.
Glein, to be close to family.
They have a son, Christopher,
who is a graduate student at ASU
pursuing a PhD
in Planetary
Science/Astrobiology, and a
daughter, Tasha, who is
attending BCC and is studying business administration.
Randolph has served on the Board
of Directors of West Sound
Treatment Center for 15 years
and is the past president. The
firm is a member of the
Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce,
the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants,
the AICPA Division of Personal
Financial Planning, and the
Washington Society of Certified
Public Accountants.
